The "Vampire Steroid" or "trenbolone" is known as a steroid that has been approved by the FDA for the use in beef cattle by industrial farmers, but not humans. After consumption of the steroid as well as their feed, cattle will excrete feces that will and traces of the steroid will end up within the surrounding environment, such as local bodies of water, even U.S rivers. What is really is fascinating is that even with water quality standards, substances still manage to leak in within our water supply as well as these substances affecting marine life and wildlife is alarming. What is even more alarming is that San Diego, is identified to be within the top ten for the worst drinking water in America (http://www.dailyfinance.com,) which affects me as well as many others who utilize the water for drinking and other activities.
Actions that need to be taken is implementing mandates to improve our water systems to improve water quality for many. Allowing substances to be consumed that are unchecked can be potentially damaging to many who use water from their local water systems. Steps that can be taken by us is to reduce the use of fertilizer that can end up as run off within our water systems as well as filtrating our own water runoff.
